UPCOMING EVENTS
Celebrate Black History Month with the Columbus Metropolitan Library!
Join us all month long for engaging programs across Central Ohio, including African drumming and dance, hip-hop classes, and genealogy workshops to honor the achievements and contributions of the Black community. Special exhibits, book displays, and family-friendly activities will also highlight the richness of Black history and culture. With events happening at branches throughout the region, there’s something for everyone to explore, learn, and celebrate this February!

BBBS - School-Based Mentoring Program
In our school-based mentoring program, your child will meet with their Big Brother or Big Sister once a week. During these sessions, a professional staff member will guide a match through activities designed to strengthen the match relationships and help youth reach their biggest possible future.
In addition to weekly sessions, your child will have the added perk of being able to continue to build the match relationship outside of school sessions.
Through our partnership with Columbus City Schools, our programs are offered FREE OF CHARGE.
