JC Broadus Center for Youth Advocacy Inc

The J.C. Broadus Center for Youth Advocacy Inc. provide services to support Central Ohio’s Pathway Hubs, Community Health Worker Certification program in achieving its goals for improving the quality of life of residents in the Linden communities. This accelerated summer cohort is designed to provide the space to take the certification course and complete their practicum hours needed by the Board of Nursing through community initiatives that support Columbus residents. Participants will be engaged in learning by way of focusing on the 5 social determinants of health alongside learning how to be a servant leader through community service and volunteerism. By providing training sites that support our youth obtaining certifications while simultaneously giving back is crucial to the future of Columbus urban communities. We have partnered with several organizations throughout Linden and other parts of Columbus to provide the participants with a great experience. Each of the establishments are committed to improving the quality of life for our youth and residents in Central Ohio.
