Celebrate Black History Month with the Columbus Metropolitan Library!
Join us all month long for engaging programs across Central Ohio, including African drumming and dance, hip-hop classes, and genealogy workshops to honor the achievements and contributions of the Black community. Special exhibits, book displays, and family-friendly activities will also highlight the richness of Black history and culture. With events happening at branches throughout the region, there’s something for everyone to explore, learn, and celebrate this February!​

Linden Branch - Columbus Metropolitan Library
CML will open a temporary Linden Branch at 1990 Jefferson Ave., next to the Linmoor Education Center, at 9 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 26. Its hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and closed Sunday.
Operating for more than 125 years, Columbus Metropolitan Library serves the residents of central Ohio. The library offers a wide array of print, digital, and audio resources for all ages. The library also conducts various events, such as seminars, book sales, contests, exhibitions and displays.
