Join us for the first Community Connects Meeting
As we begin the new year, your Franklin County Auditor’s office is preparing to kick off a series of monthly events called Community Connects where you can interact with experts from different departments to learn more about what your Auditor’s office can do for you.

The Capital Kids
Free program where children can get homework help, tutoring and a nutritious snack and/or meal. Includes recreation and enrichment activities. CORE ELEMENTS: Academic Support Includes homework assistance and integrates with individual school learning plans. Nutrition Free, healthy meals and snacks are offered at each location. Enrichment Opportunities Includes activities such as gardening, art, fitness and scouting. Prevention Includes anger management, substance abuse and violence prevention, anti-bullying and peer mediation. Recreation and Socialization Includes activities such as sports, board games and indoor/outdoor play. Family Involvement Includes family activities, referrals to resources and ongoing communication; parents are encouraged to volunteer with the program.
