Investing in the full potential of the Linden community and unleashing the power of current and emerging leaders lie at the heart of the transformative Leadership Linden Academy. The recent graduation of a dynamic class of 24 leaders marks a significant milestone for the Academy, fostering a connected community where leaders engage, collaborate, and help drive positive change. This inaugural class embarked on a 12-week journey that inspired and empowered a diverse group of leaders to play a more active and informed role in shaping the community’s future.
“We are proud of the inaugural Leadership Linden Academy cohort,” states Adam Troy, Executive Director. “By creating room at the table for current and emerging leaders to engage, collaborate, and align with others toward maximizing the full potential of our Linden community this Cohort represents an extension of our daily mission, to ‘Create a Connected Community.”
Through the teachings of the esteemed Dr. Benjamin Elijah Mays, known for his impactful work in ministry and education, the Leadership Linden Academy instills a deep commitment to Linden's growth and the broader Columbus region. By equipping fellows with essential skills and marketplace knowledge, the Academy is paving the way for a brighter future where each leader contributes meaningfully to the progress and prosperity of communities like Linden. Sponsored by the Community of Caring Development Foundation (COCDF), in partnership with Nationwide Children's Hospital and the Columbus Department of Neighborhoods, the Academy is developing a diverse pipeline of multi-generational leaders to help advance the holistic interest of the Linden community as outlined in the One Linden Plan.
